In the southern part of Serra do Espinhaço, one of the largest mountain ranges in Brazil, this 3-day crossing is a classic national trek. It connects the municipality of Lapinha da Serra, 140km from Belo Horizonte, to Tabuleiro, passing through the highest waterfall in the state of Minas Gerais with the same name, as well as other attractions. Stay at the home of local residents in beds or tents, who serve us homemade food, good prose and lots of stories. Without a doubt, an unmissable itinerary in the heart of our country.
DAY 0 (prior to dispatch): for those who chose the STAY option on "DAY 0", meeting at the inn in Serra do Cipós for the night. Food not included.
DAY 1: We will have breakfast at 6:30 am (only included for those who chose the STAY option on day 0). At 07:00 we will leave towards the start of the trail with transfer included. At 08:30 we will start the trek on the banks of the Lapinha dam. We will go around Pico da Lapinha and Breu, passing by the small beach to cool off and continue towards our stay. Overnight in a tent or bed. Dinner included.
DAY 2: After our homemade breakfast served during our stay, we started the trek with just a backpack to the upper part of the main attraction of the entire crossing, the Tabuleiro waterfall with a 273-meter drop. Return for the same stay, overnight in a tent or bed. Breakfast and dinner included.
DAY 3: Last day of trekking, this time we will visit the lower part of the waterfall on a trail through the canyon formed by the waters of its fall. Departure from the park and return to Serra do Cipós by transfer included. End scheduled for 2:00 pm. Breakfast included.
