CLOTHING
-
Dryfit T-shirt - 1 unit
Made from POLYAMIDE and with long sleeves for extra protection against solar radiation and scratches.
-
Fleece blouse 200 - 1 unit
Fleece is a type of fabric with high heating power, low weight and good compression. If you want to invest in a material that is even lighter and more compressible but much more expensive, choose a goose down jacket. But be careful! There are several types of down jackets, and many are NOT SUITABLE FOR OUTDOOR SPORTS. For more information, contact our team. If you DO NOT want to invest, you can replace it with a regular sweatshirt, but this is highly NOT recommended because it is heavier, bulkier and dries slowly if it gets wet.
-
Fleece blouse 400 - 1 unit
-
Anorak - 1 unit
This is the most important item in your backpack. It can literally save your life, as it will protect you from hypothermia. It must have a hood, be water-resistant and preferably breathable, that is, allow your sweat to escape without letting rainwater in. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED but can be replaced by a regular raincoat.
-
Pants - 1 unit
Made of resistant material that does not restrict movement.
-
Approach boot/sneakers - 1 unit
It must have excellent grip on the sole and be light as it will be carried in the backpack during climbing.
-
Thin liner socks - 1 unit
Choose technical socks specifically designed for mountaineering. They should be highly breathable, which helps to keep your feet in contact with moisture from sweat as little as possible, one of the three factors that cause blisters.
-
Hat - 1 unit
Only for very cold days. Opt for fleece models.
-
Bandana / expeditionary cap - 1 unit
Choose a bandana as it is much more versatile and can withstand extreme environmental conditions.
-
Sunglasses - 1 unit
Optional.
-
Thin liner glove - 1 unit
Only for itineraries with camping.
CLIMBING EQUIPMENT
-
Climbing shoes - 1 unit
For traditional climbing, where you will spend long hours on the wall, having a comfortable model is essential. The best sole shape for this modality is flat. If you do not have one, just let the guide know so that he can bring one from Avenida Alpina for an extra cost.
-
Climbing helmet - 1 unit
If you don't have one, just let the guide know so he can bring one from Avenida Alpina free of charge.
-
Climbing harness - 1 unit
Choose certified models with double handles. If you do not have one, just let the guide know so that he can bring it to Aventura Alpina free of charge.
-
Magnesium bag - 1 unit
If you don't have one, just let the guide know so he can bring one from Avenida Alpina for an extra cost.
-
ATC guide type brake - 1 unit

-

1.20m tubular strap and two carabiners with screw or twist lock. If you do not have one, just let the guide know so he can bring it to you free of charge from Avenida Alpina.
-
Cord - 2 units
If you don't have one, just let the guide know so he can bring it to you free of charge from Avenida Alpina.
ACCESSORIES
-
Climbing backpack 20 to 35L - 1 unit
Backpacks specially designed for climbing have very useful features for the activity, as well as not getting in the way when looking up with your helmet on. Trekking backpacks tend to restrict head movement. Choose models that have a hydration bladder adaptor.
-
Backpack rain cover - 1 unit
-
Headlamp - 1 unit
-
Spare battery pack - 1 unit
Choose lithium batteries, which are more resistant to low temperatures.
-
Trekking poles (optional) - 1 pair
-
3L water tank with hose - 1 unit
Important item because dehydration at altitude increases the chance of altitude sickness (severe headaches and nausea, for example). This type of system avoids the "taking off and putting on" of the backpack, but can even be replaced by plastic bottles.
-
Waterproof bag 1L (optional) - 1 unit
To protect/organize small items and electronics.
-
8L waterproof bag (optional) - 1 unit
To protect/organize clothes.
PERSONAL HYGIENE
-
Sunscreen factor 50 or higher
-
Personal use medicines
Considered one of the 15 most impressive climbs in the world, this is undoubtedly a mountain that cannot be missed on any climber's list. With a long approach, advanced camp and 240m of wall, reaching its summit is an unforgettable odyssey for a select few. Our guides opt for the two-day strategy so that the participant is more rested during the climb, thus increasing the safety of the team.
